Over the years, we have seen how judges both influence our political process and effect our social norms. For all of you women who care how our society is affected by judges, please consider joining us for an evening of networking and learning about our judicial selection process in San Francisco. The judges on the bench matter to all of us, our friends and neighbors and to our children.
Linda is a whip-smart progressive lesbian who possesses incredible judgment. She’ll make a great judge. Linda has devoted her life to public service. She has worked as a San Francisco public defender for over 12 years. She also has had leadership roles on the following boards: ACLU, Municipal Attorney Association, Woman Defenders and Golden Gate Women’s Soccer League. She is mother of Hannah Colfax-Lamoureux, who attends Brandeis Hillel Day School, and Elias Colfax-Lamoureux, who attends Eureka Learning Center, and wife of Kristin Lamoureux.
Please feel free to bring other women or pass along the invitation.
We’ll be pouring delicious wines and serving heavy appetizers.
We hope you will make a donation to Linda’s campaign. Suggested donations:
Friend-$75
Advocate – $125
Proponent- $250
Pillar- $500
